The closing ceremony of the 51st edition of the Karlovy Vary IFF saw Charlie Kaufman accept the President’s Award in impressive Czech; Hungary’s Szabolcs Hajdu lift the Best Film prize for It’s Not the Time of My Life and Best Actor for his role in the intimate picture; Damjan Kozole get the Best Director award for Nightlife; Rusudan Glurjidze take the East of the West prize for House of Others; and Zuzana Mauréry win Best Actress for her role in The Teacher.
