The film was shot on negative, with the top cast and crew from Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Serbia. We are currently doing sound design, music, color correction and visual effects. We are planning to participate at the Croatian national film festival in Pula at the end of July. Although it could be said there have been enough Balkan war stories, the fact is that there is always a need for truthful and touching human dramas, regardless of which part of the world they come. What attracted us to this project is primarily the powerful emotional story loosely based on the facts, written by the successful Bosnian writer, Fedja Isovic, with his strong sense for characters and narrative flow.

Three years after an apocalyptic event has decimated 99.99% of the planet’s population, a young man ends his dramatic pilgrimage that brought a grim conclusion: he has found none of his relatives, friends or acquaintances alive. Film synopsis:
Vladimir Putin’s new presidential term began in May 2012. Six months before that Putin’s stability had expired. Time has speeded up. Time has changed. Time is flowing in a different direction.
What’s going to happen next? Who’s going to be tomorrow’s hero? When we started shooting this film, we wanted to answer these very questions. We neither keep a chronicle of the protest rallies, nor make a news report. We record the thoughts and emotions of the opposition leaders. We want to understand where they lead us. What they call us up for. Even when they also face a term—in jail.

Producer´s Statement:
Wild Duck is a feature film with a strong political value, both in terms of its production process and its content. Within a paralyzed state-funding production system in the economically hit Greek film industry, Wild Duck is a totally independent film, made as a result of a team work among friends and collaborators who believed in it from day one. It was shot in RED Epic, in Athens and in the north of Greece within twenty three days. Our goal is to have its premiere in one of the major film festivals and we are looking for a sales agent who will appreciate its daring qualities and will support it throughout its festival career.
