Dear journalists, PR agents, and social media content creators, thank you for your interest in the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Our press department is here for you year-round. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
Media services may be used only by holders of Press accreditation. Requests for accreditation were accepted from 23 April to 7 July 2024.
Accreditation is presented against confirmation of payment of the accreditation fee in the amount of CZK 2,000/3,000. This fee may be paid in cash or using a payment card at the Cash Desk in the Hotel Thermal’s accreditation hall.
Every day, accredited journalists receive an email containing Dailies – the schedule of events for journalists for the following day. To make sure that journalists have the latest information, Dailies are always sent in the evening with information for the next day. Journalists may also sign up for our:
Text messages with up-to-date information on events and changes during the festival (changes to press screenings, press conferences, accompanying events, arrivals of film stars, etc.)
If you would like to receive such text messages, please indicate this fact on the accreditation form or send a request to [email protected].
Press releases are available for download from this link.
If you want to be certain not to miss out on any news, press releases, or important notices, sign up for our newsletter at [email protected] or mark the relevant column on the online accreditation form.

Every day, we offer Daily Highlights, high-resolution videos summarizing the most important moments of the previous festival day – available for journalists for free download. You will receive an activation email a few days before the festival begins. As usual, the video library will screen films from all program sections. Premiere films will be available only after their first festival screening.
