Press Accreditation
Press Accreditation is available for journalists from all types of media (print, online, television, radio, photographers), for
PR agents, and for individual social media content creators.
Applications for Press Accreditation closed on 7 June 2024
This year, we issued two types of accreditation:
-
Press Accreditation – CZK 3,000 – Press Accreditation allows holders to make maximum use of the services provided by the Press Department. Besides free admission to press screenings, holders of this type of accreditation also receive up to 3 tickets a day to public film screenings.
-
Press Accreditation Light – CZK 2,000 – Press Accreditation Light allows holders to make maximum use of the services provided by the Press Department. However, the only way to see films is at press screenings or via the video library. Press Accreditation Light does not provide admission to public film screenings (this type of accreditation is useful for photographers, camera operators, or journalists for whom access to press screenings is sufficient).

Who are Press Accreditation and Press Accreditation Light intended for?
-
Press Accreditation for CZK 3,000 is best for journalists (print, TV, radio, internet), press agency correspondents, PR agents of films being shown at the festival, and social media content creators.
-
Press Accreditation Light for CZK 2,000 is primarily intended for photographers and TV, radio, and internet crews, who generally do not need to see festival films at cinemas (the option of receiving 3 tickets for 3 public screenings a day is available only with Press Accreditation).
-
It is up to each journalist to decide which accreditation to purchase. If they wish, photographers or camera operators may purchase a full Press Accreditation, and similarly print journalists may purchase a Press Accreditation Light.
-
The last day to apply for Press Accreditation or Press Accreditation Light is 7 June 2024.
No further applications for Press Accreditation will be accepted after this date, not even during the festival.
Where and when can you pick up your Press Accreditation or Press Accreditation Light?
-
Both types of accreditation will be available for personal pick-up after 28 June 2024 at the Press desk in the accreditation hall on the ground floor of the Hotel Thermal (open daily from 8am to 10pm, on 6 July from 8am to 6pm).
-
Accreditation is presented against confirmation of payment of the accreditation fee. The fee may be paid in cash or using a payment card at the Cash Desk in the Hotel Thermal’s accreditation hall. If you prefer to pay via an invoice, you must send your invoicing details to [email protected] by 7 June 2024 at the latest.
Please note:
- There is no automatic claim to accreditation merely because a journalist has been accredited at past editions of the festival.
- The festival reserves the right not to grant accreditation. The applicant shall be informed of such a decision in due time.
- Accreditation is non-transferable.
- The festival charges a CZK 200 fee for the loss of accreditation and creation of a duplicate.
