The 50th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has just drawn to a close with a glitzy awards ceremony at the Grand Hall of Thermal Hall. In a report, several of the winners give their reactions to picking up KVIFF’s prestigious Crystal Globe award. They include Diego Ongaro, the director of Best Film Bob and the Trees; Best Director Visar Morina (Babai); the director of East of the West winner Wednesday’s Child, Lili Horvath; Best Actor Kryštof Hádek (The Snake Brothers); Best Actress Alena Mihulová (Home Care); and the director of Best Documentary prize winner Mallory, Helena Třeštíková.
