Submissions are now open until May 2, 2025 for our newly announced KVIFF Central Stage programme aimed at filmmakers from Central Europe working on their third and subsequent films. Selected projects in development, production, or post-production will be presented during the festival. KVIFF Eastern Promises will include these presentations:
KVIFF Central Stage - a brand-new showcase for fiction features by established filmmakers from Central Europe.
KVIFF Talents - a programme supporting daring and dynamic approaches to Czech and Slovak cinema and other audiovisual fields.
The deadline for KVIFF Central Stage is set for May 2, 2025, for KVIFF Talents the date is April 17, 2025.
Presentations of selected projects will also be held:
Works in Development – Feature Launch - a development-focused initiative run in collaboration with MIDPOINT Institute.
Pop Up Series Incubator - a fresh development programme for European series, presented in partnership with Tatino Films.
KVIFF Eastern Promises Industry Days 2025 will take place from Sunday, July 6, 2025 to Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
