His orchestra attracted professionals and amateurs alike – including a young Michael Nyman and Brian Eno. Director Luke Fowler found a type of intense audiovisual collage, where sound and image unite to form a hypnotic current which reaches far into the subjective sphere of experimental film.

Luke Fowler (b. 1978, Glasgow), Scottish artist, works in various media, including video and experimental film, and he also creates music and sound collages and installations. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions since 2000 (Venice Biennale, 2003, Frankfurt’s Manifesta 4, 2002). He performed in the music ensemble Rude Pravo. The film Pilgrimage from Scattered Points (2006), presented at London’s Tate Modern, is his most notable success to date.
