Documentary Films - Competition 2009 / Anders & Harri / Sweden 2008
Anders and Harri are best friends. They both like music but Anders also loves trains. One day they set out for the town of Geta where a tragic railroad accident occurred in 1918. They are so moved by the memorial site that they write a song about it. A non-sentimental film about friendship, fear, and trains.
Anders and Harri are best friends. They both like music but Anders also loves trains. One day they set out for the town of Geta where a tragic railroad accident occurred in 1918. They are so moved by the memorial site that they write a song about it. The Swedish directing duo demonstrates that 13 minutes is enough to capture the essence of deep feelings on film. Although touching, the film presents a non-sentimental look at friendship, fear, and trains.
