The story of a girl named Kim who records her life and the lives of those around her on video. One day she bumps into petty crook Marcel ... and bang! Kim falls in love with Marcel and together they start up a dangerous enterprise: filming rich people in compromising situations and then blackmailing them. The creative duo, who also play the leads in the movie, have shot a highly unusual film on a shoestring budget. Told with a fresh and (in part) subjective camera which, itself, is reflected in the plot, this crime/love story is intriguing for its unusual atmosphere created by concise and dynamic black-and- white images, as well as by the use of varied music. The movie acquires even greater poetic refinement by incorporating poems about life, loss, and love. What is Bang anyway? A dangerous game? A film about film? A poetic crime trip? A love story from the dregs of society?
