A day in the life of the people responsible for cleaning the streets of Italy’s capital. After being allocated brooms and dustcarts, they set off for the city centre and also to the quieter districts. The camera captures them during the midday break, after which they patiently continue their work until sundown. Then they hand in their tools and go their separate ways. This film will be screened in the Tribute to Michelangelo Antonioni I.
Synopsis
