Documentary Films - Competition 2003 / Kroppen min / Norway 2002
In an effort to explore her identity, the director strips for the camera and engages in a courageous and supremely candid dialogue with her own body on the theme of imperfection.
A supremely intimate dialogue between the director and her body in the form of ameditation on inferiority complexes which essentially demonises the health problems that accompanied her childhood. Her non-narcissistic commentary, replete with irony and humour, underscores this highly functional half-hour carnival of images of a body viewed from different angles and distances.
