Gabriel Vanderpas (b. 1981) studied at the Institut National de Radioélectricité et Cinématographie in Brussels (2000-03). He has tried his hand at several film professions, among them stills photographer (Through the Walls of the Heart -see Karlovy Vary IFF 2002), assistant director and cameraman. Selected filmography: Le trou (2001), August & Marie (2002), St-Nicolas ne viendra pas (2003), Turron de Chapapote (2003). The film was shot and the script was written in cooperation with six students of the Brussel= s Film School INRACI.
