A little party in a flat; an older couple and a young man. The relationships are initially unclear but there are signs that this seemingly relaxed affair is tinged with melancholy. An encounter over wine and savoury snacks and a few anecdotes from a distinguished orchestral musician open old wounds, but also bring unexpected relief. This carefully punctuated, site-specific microdrama was shot and produced by the Alfred Bouriana Film Company without any official funding; the entire crew also waived their fees.

Bohdan Karásek (b. 1978, Brno), musician and filmmaker, studied at the Zlín Film School and subsequently took courses in screenwriting and script editing at FAMU, where he also worked as a teaching assistant. He began making short amateur and experimental films in the mid-1990s. He shot the film Promising Generation (Nadějná generace) in 2008. Karásek’s own Alfred Bouriana Film Company produced his two most recent site-specific "apartment movies” Lucie (2011) and Love Songs (2013).
