Sitting in a cinema, a lone viewer eagerly awaits the main attraction, but finds himself surrounded by an audience seemingly hell bent on preventing him from enjoying the film. Frames shows us a voyeur’s passage from anger to illumination and the vast internal metropolis of one viewer’s mind.

Joseph Cahill (b. 1976, New York City) graduated from Alfred University (NY) in 1998. Upon graduation he was awarded a Fulbright Grant to study under the Czech surrealist filmmaker Jan Svankmajer. He worked for Svankmajer on his latest feature, Otesanek, for which Cahill made many various puppets and special props.
