New Korean Cinema 2001 / Haetbit Jaleuneun Ayee / South Korea 1997
A girl remains in a locked room. A small child clings to her back, and she has marbles and a paper butterfly in her hand. She plays with the sun’s rays and climbs up to the window. The child doesn’t survive the fall. The next day a candle is shining instead of the sunlight. The paper butterfly burns in the flame, and maybe the whole house, too.
