Ljubljana, Slovenia. Five young people between the ages of 20 and 25 are trying to make it in life. Their stories are very loosely woven around the main protagonist, a medical student called Mare, who discovers the allure of wild rave parties, house music and extasy pills and starts to neglect his studies. Like many others of his generation, Mare does not really know what to do with his life. The film, using expressive, modern film idioms, offers a cold and detached picture of contemporary Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and of its somewhat lost generation.
