What happens when you don’t make it in show business? Julien considers himself Jim Morrison’s legitimate double. He earns his living at the Parisian Père-Lachaise cemetery entertaining tourists in front of the rock star’s tomb. When he learns that his idol’s body is to be transferred to California, Julien decides to steal the Lizard King’s remains with the help of his friend Aldo.

Julien Hallard (b. 1974, Lisieux, France) began his directing career with a trilogy of three short films shot in New York in 2003–2004 that was selected for numerous festivals, including Locarno and Venice. Hair (2009), his sixth short film, competed at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2010. He also directed the shorts Rose (2012) and People Are Strange (2014), broadcast on Arte.
