When Silvia and Artur meet in high school, it’s love at first sight. But a hereditary disease takes Artur soon after, and Silvia, mourning, leaves for the seaside with her family. After coming across a book on Haitian rituals, she decides to bring Artur back to life … because with love it’s either all or nothing.
Silvia is a bored high school girl who isn’t much interested in anything. But everything changes when she meets an energetic kid named Artur, who was expelled from all his previous schools. Artur suffers from hemophilia and lives each day as if it were his last. For Silvia it’s love at first sight, and the young couple spend a brief but beautiful period together. When Artur bleeds to death, Silvia’s family decides to take their desperate daughter to the Brazilian seaside to help her forget. But she refuses to let Artur go. After finding a book on voodoo rituals, she decides to bring her dead boyfriend back to life. Her desire becomes an obsession, and Silvia is determined to pay any price for Artur’s return.
