A widow and former teacher who has never had an orgasm, Nancy has decided to educate herself when it comes to sex. But her greatest challenge will be overcoming her own biases and uncertainties. This conversational film is something like an updated version of Pretty Woman. Within the setting of one hotel room, we follow a sensitively told story of self-acceptance and of the late awakening of sexuality. Emma Thompson shines as a woman who must struggle mainly with herself on her path to regaining her self-confidence.
