Three girls – Ka, Malin, and Ira – set out to see the world after high school graduation. While traveling in Italy, they meet the mysterious Zoe, who takes them to an abandoned city. Why are the homes empty, the streets barren, and no people in sight? The young women find themselves on the threshold of adulthood, but they enter into it differently than they had imagined. This mysterious, haunting, and engaging coming-of-age story is a mature debut that is not afraid to add a surrealist touch to the lazy atmosphere of one hot summer.
