Cinema as a tool, with which the writer-director in pandemic times reconstructs his recollections of the outside world and his own role within it before Covid struck. Cinema as a refuge during lockdown, when the theatres are closed and the only interlocutor Alessandro Aniballi has left is his computer, which allows him to blend personal memories with dozens of iconic film images and scenes from across the history of the tenth muse. A wonderfully infectious obsession with film as a method of survival. Heroes of such movies as Touch of Evil, Hands Over the City, Raging Bull, Johnny Guitar or The Big Lebowski fill the entire memory and irresistibly invite the cinephile both behind the camera and in the theatre to remain in this world forever.
