Observation and destruction. Primarily from a vertical perspective, this collage of archive material depicts human settlements, the natural landscape, and children playing, yet it also captures a series of controlled explosions. Calmly yet urgently the seemingly apolitical shots convey a clear, political message. In the light of the relentless uprooting of Palestinians, what might be taken for an innocent period picture postcard acquires darkly contradictory contours and meanings.
