A lonely taxi driver, haunted by his past, falls in love with a prostitute who succumbs to her fate without a fight. His earnest desire to save her from her life proves to be a crucial test. Taxi Driver as a Thai melodrama.
A past murder haunts Bati, a taxi driver. The beautiful songs from a radio station are the only bright spots in a world clouded by his past. The radio station plays dramas and classic ballads, both frozen in a by-gone era. And the regular DJs constantly remind the listeners that good still exists in this world and that, in the end, it will prevail. Bati, a man lost in his memories, falls in love with Nual, a prostitute who succumbs to her fate without a fight. Both are like damaged beings who will breathe life into each other. Bati’s earnest desire to save Nual from her life proves to be a crucial test. Taxi Driver, conceived as a Thai melodrama.
