Press and Industry Accreditations open until 9th June

PRESS ACCREDITATION

Are you a journalist, reporter, photographer, or social media content creator and want to receive information about the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival straight from the source?

Applications for press accreditation for KVIFF 59 may be submitted until Monday, 9 June 2025.

Again, we offer two types of accreditation:

• Press Accreditation Light (CZK 2,000) allows holders to make maximum use of the services provided by the Press Department. However, the only way to see films is at press screenings or via the video library. This type of accreditation is useful for photographers, camera operators, or journalists for whom access to press screenings is sufficient.
  
  
• Press Accreditation (CZK 3,000) allows holders to make maximum use of the services provided by the Press Department. Besides free admission to press screenings, holders of this type of accreditation also receive up to 3 tickets a day to public film screenings. ​Press Accreditation for CZK 3,000 is best for journalists (print, TV, radio, internet), press agency correspondents, PR agents of films being shown at the festival, and social media content creators.

INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION

We also offer accreditation for film professionals involved in the shooting, production, or distribution of films. This form of accreditation is only for film professionals currently active in cinema (buyers, distributors, representatives of film festivals or cinematic institutions, investors, producers, sales agents). You can apply for Industry Accreditation until Monday, 9 June 2025. Here, too, we offer two types of accreditations:

• Industry Accreditation for 160 EUR allows you to access a full range of services from the Industry department, including the option to pick up to 3 tickets for 3 festival screenings daily.
  
  
• Industry Light Accreditation for 85 EUR allows access only to Press & Industry screenings, primarily suitable for attendees who wish to participate in events during Industry days (from July 6 to July 9).

At the end, here are some inspiring figures from last year’s festival:

• 10,769 accredited visitors attended the festival, including

• 8,726 visitors with a Festival Pass

• 411 filmmakers

• 1,097 film industry professionals

• 535 journalists

• the festival sold 127,325 tickets

• a total of 136 feature films were shown
